On April 7, 2026, officers with the Cherry Hill Police Department in New Jersey located a vehicle parked across multiple spaces in a Chick-fil-A parking lot with a driver passed out behind the wheel. After being awakened by police, the driver admitted to drinking shortly before operating the vehicle. The vehicle was identified as belonging to a drug and alcohol recovery center, where the driver either works or was receiving treatment. Court records indicate the driver had previously been arrested for DUI in New York in August of 2024, making this her second DUI arrest. She was charged with DWI, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, and Refusal to Submit to Breath Tests, and was later released to a representative of the recovery center. The case is currently pending in court.
