The job of a firefighter in the remote Canadian wilderness is more intense than you can imagine. In this documentary, we follow the dedicated men and women of Alberta’s fire services—many of whom are volunteers—as they prepare for the relentless threat of seasonal wildfires and life-threatening structure fires. Watch as new recruits are pushed to their absolute physical and mental breaking points through grueling drills designed to teach them how to manage their air supply and maintain composure in zero-visibility scenarios.
