On May 12th, 2024, California Highway Patrol Officers pulled over a man for expired registration in Del Norte County California near the Oregon Border. The driver gave the Officers a false name trying to hide his identity. When the Officers went to arrest him for not being able to ID him, he ran from them, and a short foot pursuit ensued until the Officers caught him near the Lucky 7 Casino and arrested him.
