On March 31, 2023, Marion Police Officer Kelly observed two females that he believed to be intoxicated walking down the street. By the time, he was able to catch up to them, they had slipped into a vehicle. He located the vehicle and made contact with the two women in order to check on their condition. When he asked for their identification, the woman in the passenger seat started to verbally argue about the reason for the contact. Officer Kelly eventually asked the 20-year-old woman sitting in the driver's seat to step out of the vehicle. She was administered field sobriety tests and was arrested for having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The mouthy passenger makes a cameo appearance towards the end of the vehicle. The woman who was arrested ended up pleading guilty to the charge before the laboratory could analyze the urine specimen, so the results were not revealed. She was fined $200 plus court costs and was placed on probation for 2 years.
