On April 29, 2025, Roswell Police Officers responded to a single car motor vehicle accident. A 22-year-old woman was speeding down an alley, crashed through a fence, and ending up crashing into the corner of a bank building. When Officers interviewed her, she blamed the accident on her losing control after hitting what she believed to be a pothole. While Officer Morales was surveying the damage, Officer Fuentes allegedly observed the woman attempt to hide an open container of alcohol under her seat. The woman did finally admit to having a Buzzballz container in her vehicle. She was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Liquor shortly thereafter. She was transported to the Roswell Police Station, where she submitted two breath samples. The result for both tests was 0.15% BAC. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
