Bodycam footage shows Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation (FWC) officers conducting a safety and resource inspection on fishermen in Johns Pass, Pinellas County. While aboard the vessel, officers observed several signs of impairment and asked the occupants if there was any cannabis onboard. The men eventually admitted to having a small amount. When the officers asked the man to submit to Seated Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs), he refused at first but eventually complied. Once aboard the vessel, the man became combative and attempted to jump from the patrol vessel. Consequently, the man was charged with Boating Under the Influence (BUI), resisting arrest without violence, and possession of a controlled substance.
