On June 22, 2025, Little Silver Police Officer White checked on a vehicle in the 7-11 parking lot. He claimed the vehicle was taking up 2 spaces and the 40-year-old woman behind the wheel appeared to be asleep. There were open containers of alcohol in her vehicle, but the woman claimed repeatedly that she did not drink. She was asked to perform field sobriety testing and was arrested for Operating Under the Influence. She was also charged with Having an Open Container and Prohibited Parking. The police report indicates she blew 0.00% BAC and declined to a voluntary Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) evaluation. On September 18, 2025, she pleaded guilty to the Open Container charge and the parking violation. The Operating Under the Influence charge was dismissed. She was fined a total of $570.00 for both violations.
