On May 23, 2025, Roswell Police Officer Willis observed a vehicle run off the road and strike a curb. He made a U-turn and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by a 32-year-old woman. Due to her driving, she was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was ultimately arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Liquor. She was transported to the Roswell police station, where she agreed to provide breath samples. Unfortunately, the results of her breath test were never revealed because Officer Willis had his body camera muted. However, the woman was charged with Aggravated DWI implying her breath alcohol concentration was 0.16 percent or greater. On November 4, 2025, she pleaded guilty to an amended charge of Non-Aggravated DWI. She was placed on probation and the conviction will eventually be dismissed if she has no additional violations of the law in the next year.
