Flagler County, Florida – On May 2, 2025, police received multiple calls from concerned citizens reporting a male driving while displaying firearms. Officers located the vehicle and observed the driver and passenger matching the descriptions provided. Police conducted a high-risk vehicle stop and detained both occupants, discovering a baby seated in the backseat. Officers located two firearms inside the vehicle, along with two containers of liquid that emitted an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. Standardized field sobriety exercises were conducted, and a breath alcohol sample measured 0.136. The driver was arrested for improper exhibition of a firearm, use of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and DUI over 0.15 (second offense). The passenger was released without charges. The child and vehicle were released to a family member on scene.
