Arkansas State Police released dashcam footage showing a dangerous pursuit involving a stolen 10-foot U-Haul truck that began after the Little Rock Police Department attempted to stop the vehicle on July 30, 2026. According to Arkansas State Police, Trooper David Calvert joined the pursuit on Interstate 440 after dispatch advised that Little Rock officers were chasing the stolen U-Haul. Investigators say the driver, later identified as **Jessie Keller**, fled at speeds reaching approximately **75 mph** before exiting the interstate and leading troopers through residential streets. During the pursuit, troopers attempted multiple Tactical Vehicle Interventions (TVIs) to stop the fleeing U-Haul. Despite being forced off the roadway several times, authorities say the driver regained control and continued fleeing through neighborhoods, a church parking lot, and private property. The pursuit ended when Keller allegedly crashed the U-Haul into a utility pole, disabling the vehicle. According to the report, Keller refused repeated commands to exit the truck and actively resisted officers. Troopers eventually removed him from the vehicle, and after continued resistance, Trooper Calvert struck Keller once to gain compliance before he was taken into custody by the Little Rock Police Department.
