On January 27th, 2025, Springfield police faced pure tenant chaos when Charlene Camille Cole refused to accept eviction and instead pulled fire alarms, hid in random rooms, and brawled with neighbors. By the time officers arrived, she was deep in denial, acting like alarms tripped themselves. When confronted, she erupted—spitting, kicking, and screaming “for what” as if it were her battle cry. Even cuffed, she played the victim, but the evidence was stacked against her. She was ultimately charged with disorderly conduct, aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting arrest, and trespassing.
