Jeremy Dewitte spent years acting like a police officer across Central Florida pulling over drivers, chasing motorists, screaming commands, and recording much of it on his own bodycam. Eventually, that footage became evidence against him. Dewitte operated Metro State Vehicle Protection Services, a funeral escort company with police-style motorcycles, uniforms, flashing lights, sirens, and an 18-vehicle fleet. But Metro State wasn't a police department, and Dewitte didn't have the law-enforcement authority he repeatedly appeared to exercise on camera. In this episode of Cuffed & Clueless, we go through the Jeremy Dewitte saga — the Metro State bodycam encounters, confrontations with motorists, repeated police impersonation arrests, his infamous Dr. Phil appearance and polygraph, and the arrests that followed. Investigators eventually obtained nearly a terabyte of bodycam footage from Dewitte and Metro State employees. Some of the most unbelievable evidence in the case wasn't captured by police. Jeremy Dewitte recorded it himself. This updated version uses select stylized animation sequences and transitions alongside the original footage to bring some of the craziest moments of the story to life.
