Bodycam footage from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Police shows the intense arrest of a woman who, after being kicked off a plane, locked herself in a bathroom and bizarrely claimed her father's job as a lieutenant would get her out of trouble. On January 8th, 2023, officers were called to an airport terminal after the woman, identified as Carina, was denied boarding for spitting, yelling, and cursing at airline employees. Police located her hiding in a restroom stall, where she was immediately confrontational and belligerent. During the standoff, she told officers, "My dad's a lieutenant," in an apparent attempt to intimidate them. After she finally exited the stall, her uncooperative and erratic behavior continued in the main terminal. When officers attempted to place her under arrest for public intoxication, she began to scream and violently resist, forcing officers to take her to the ground to secure her in handcuffs. She was ultimately charged with Assault on a Public Servant and Resisting Arrest.
