Officers stopped the suspect, later identified as a 32 year old male named Tracy. According to the report, Tracy kicked one of the officers several times during the encounter. He was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer with violence, and 2 counts of resisting an officer without violence. About one month later, he pled guilty to battery on a law enforcement officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 270 days in jail with credit for 34 days served.
