This raw bodycam footage captures the intense moment a roadside standoff with Waffle House attack suspect Yokeen Lunford turns physical. After refusing numerous commands, Lunford declares his intention to not comply, forcing Albuquerque police officers to physically intervene and take him into custody. The clip begins with officers making the decision to end the verbal standoff and go hands-on. "I'm gonna grab him," an officer states clearly. Lunford continues to plead his innocence while simultaneously refusing to follow instructions. "Bro, I got nothing, bro. I told y'all," he says, just before being told, "Stay in the car 'til you're told to get out." The situation escalates when Lunford makes his final stand of defiance. As officers move in, he firmly states, "I'm not f***ing moving." This declaration, captured on bodycam, is the final trigger that prompts the officers to use physical force to effect the arrest, leading to a struggle. During the struggle, Lunford can be heard questioning the officers' actions, expressing fear and confusion about why he is being arrested, despite the preceding high-speed chase and his consistent non-compliance with lawful orders. This tense confrontation was recorded on January 21, 2025, during the arrest of Yokeen Lunford. This footage clearly establishes the active resistance that led to charges of battery on a peace officer and resisting arrest, in addition to the charges from the initial Waffle House attack. This video is a powerful example of how a suspect's verbal and physical defiance can force officers' hands, turning a high-risk stop into a physical altercation where use of force becomes necessary. #policebodycam #bodycam #policearrest #lawenforcement
