Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: At about 6:57 p.m. on January 31, 2026, Little Silver Patrolmen Andrew White, Tyler Wilton, and Steven Camacho responded to an overturned vehicle on Silverton Avenue. When they arrived, they found a 2022 Hyundai Elantra upside down. Patrolman White confirmed that everyone inside had gotten out and spoke with the driver, Dabin Jin. She could not remember how the car flipped. Officers later determined that the Hyundai hit a snowbank, struck a parked 2008 Acura MDX, and overturned in the middle of the road. Dabin told police that she and her passenger had been at Casa Calaveras, a taco bar in Middletown. She was driving him home to Long Branch. While speaking with her, officers smelled alcohol and noticed other signs of impairment. Dabin admitted she had consumed a few drinks earlier that night. Because they suspected she was impaired, officers asked her to complete field sobriety tests. During the Walk and Turn test, Dabin failed to touch heel-to-toe on each step and counted backward. She then took the One Leg Stand test, but did not raise her foot correctly and struggled to keep her balance. The final test, Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, was conducted inside the ambulance. Dabin was arrested for DWI after the crash, her admission that she had been drinking, and her failure to complete the sobriety tests. The passenger was taken to Riverview Medical Center for further evaluation. Police impounded the Hyundai for a 12-hour hold under John's Law. Patrolman Wilton transported Dabin to the Little Silver Police Department for processing. At the station, officers read Dabin the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators. She later agreed to provide breath samples. Her Alcotest results showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.145 percent, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent. After processing was complete, police released Dabin to her boyfriend, Eric Kratus. He signed the Potential Liability Warning on her behalf while she awaited her court appearance. Patrolman Wilton issued Dabin tickets for operating under the influence under 39:4-50, reckless driving under 39:4-96, careless driving under 39:4-97, and unsafe operation under 39:4-97.2.
