Description On November 22, 2024, law enforcement officers in Florida received a call reporting a disturbance at a pizza parlor. The incident began when a woman was spotted holding drugs in the outdoor dining area. Upon being approached by security personnel, the situation escalated rapidly: the woman became verbally aggressive, struck a security officer in the face, attempted to ram him with her car while fleeing, and drove away from the scene in what appeared to be an intoxicated state. Officers located the subject at a nearby gas station and began investigating both the assault and the possibility of drunk driving. A prolonged confrontation ensued, during which the subject became increasingly defiant during the intoxication investigation, particularly when explaining the horizontal nystagmus (HGN) test. Despite the officers' patience and professionalism, the subject continued to challenge their procedures and training. The situation escalated during the process of recording the incident when officers discovered the suspect was carrying a loaded firearm – leading to criminal charges of possession of a weapon while committing a crime and bringing contraband into custody.
