She was warned. Then warned again. Then warned a third time. Officers were already managing a fatal crash with a broken femur, a medevac, and a possible DUI. She made every part of it harder. On the night of this incident, police responded to a multi-vehicle crash involving a truck, a Chevy, and several other cars. One victim was airlifted with a broken femur and a laceration. A DUI unit was called in. The road was locked down. Officers were stretched thin managing victims, witnesses, and evidence. Then a woman, later found to be intoxicated, repeatedly crossed the police perimeter claiming her family member was involved. Officers warned her more than once to stay back. She kept coming back anyway. After the third time, Sergeant Green made the call. She was placed under arrest for resisting lawful commands. What followed was nearly 30 minutes of officers juggling the crash investigation, crowd control, medical decisions, and a woman in the back of a patrol car still not cooperating.
