🚔 CLAYTON COUNTY, GEORGIA — On November 29, 2024, deputies attempted a routine traffic stop on a white Cadillac CTS with dark tinted windows near a gas station off Tara Boulevard. But instead of complying, 25-year-old Timothy Tookes fled the scene, triggering a high-speed pursuit. Deputies executed a PIT maneuver on North Main Street, spinning Tookes out into the opposite lane and trapping the vehicle. When he refused commands, deputies shattered the window and forced him out at gunpoint. Inside the car, deputies found: A teal Glock 48 handgun A 3/4 full bottle of Paul Masson No valid license for the driver Tookes later admitted he ran because he didn’t want to get caught with his brother’s gun — but to make matters worse, he also had two active felony warrants out of DeKalb County for sexual assault.
