Akron police responded to a disturbance call and encountered Lashay Jackson and Tyler Robinson at the scene. Jackson recounted that she visited Robinson, her boyfriend, at his residence, where an argument ensued over suspicions of her communication with another male. The altercation escalated when Robinson pushed her inside and later pursued her outside, grabbing her by the neck and slapping her. In response, Jackson admitted to damaging Robinson's property, including windows and a TV. Robinson retaliated by breaking the windshield of Jackson's white Kia. Although evaluated and cleared by Akron EMS, Jackson chose not to press charges against Robinson, opting instead to heed officers' advice to avoid returning to his residence for the night. Robinson provided a different account, stating that Jackson initiated the argument regarding another female. He declined medical assistance and also chose not to press charges against Jackson. Jackson allowed officers to move her vehicle from Robinson's driveway and disclosed that she was intoxicated, opting for a ride to her grandmother's house. Part 2: Fifty-six minutes later, officers were summoned back to Jackson's grandmother's house due to another reported altercation. Upon arrival, they encountered a confrontational scene with two groups arguing, including Robinson who was verbally aggressive towards officers. Despite warnings, Robinson persisted in approaching officers and was subsequently arrested for obstructing official business without further incident. While escorting Robinson, a physical altercation erupted between two females in the street. Despite officers' commands, the altercation persisted, necessitating the use of force to separate and arrest both females. One of them, Margia Ball, was pregnant and subsequently evaluated and transported to Akron City Hospital by Akron EMS. Jackson was again evaluated and cleared on the scene, while Robinson faced charges of obstructing official business. Jackson and Ball were charged with disorderly conduct, disorderly conduct while intoxicated, and resisting arrest. Jackson and Robinson were transported to SCJ by Wagon 88, while Ball received a summons for her charges.
