In the early morning hours of March 31, 2024, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper attempted to stop a Ford F150 in Pulaski County after observing dangerous driving. The vehicle fled, leading to a brief pursuit on both paved and gravel roads. The driver eventually lost control and the truck overturned. Both occupants were uninjured, but the driver showed signs of intoxication and admitted to drinking heavily. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol concentration of 0.180%. The driver was arrested for DWI (alcohol), resisting arrest by fleeing, and careless and imprudent driving involving an accident.
