A late-night flat tire incident quickly turned into a DWI arrest after police responded to reports of erratic driving. Officers located the driver near a local Target store, where they found her attempting to deal with a flat tire on the side of the road. During the encounter, officers observed signs of possible impairment, including the odor of alcohol. The driver told police she had been coming from a concert and admitted to drinking earlier in the night. After speaking with her further, officers conducted field sobriety tests to determine whether she was safe to drive. As the investigation continued, the driver showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody for DWI. She was later transported for additional processing, where breath test results reportedly showed a BAC of 0.16%, about twice the legal limit. This bodycam case captures the full police response, roadside investigation, field sobriety testing, and arrest process.
