On December 18, 2023, Pullman Police Officers were dispatched to the Walmart, where loss prevention agents were detaining 3 subjects for shoplifting. Police quickly discovered that the 20-year-old male was unaware that the shoplifting was occurring and he had paid for all of his merchandise. That left the two 19-year-old females. One quickly turned on the other. The 2nd female was eventually arrested for third degree theft. She was cited, trespassed, and released. She was then left to find a way home to Colfax, WA. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
