Instead, she accused them of stopping her because she is white, and the night ended in handcuffs. On February 24, 2024, deputies stopped 46 year old Christina Laboy, who they said had been driving over 100 mph. She admitted to a glass of wine but didn't show enough signs of impairment for a DUI arrest. Rather than take the break, she argued with deputies, made remarks about their races, and threatened the female deputy. She was arrested and resisted as deputies put her in the patrol car, leaving one deputy with a scraped hand.
