An elderly man suffers a fall after celebrating his birthday with friends. Paramedics take the elderly man who sustained a head injury to hopsital to get his cut stitched up. The patient feels upset and unlucky for having an injury on his birthday. Elsewhere, paramedics respond to a call of a young woman suffering from mental health issues. For the very first time, an ambulance has been rigged with cameras that provide a unique perspective on what it's like to respond to emergency calls. 'Inside The Ambulance' follows paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service in England as they take us right into the heart of the action.
