On January 27, 2024, Monroe County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of an intoxicated male attempting to drive. Upon arrival, the officer found the 71 year old male, William, behind the driver's seat. Upon exiting the Sheriff's vehicle, William "sharted". William blew a .24 and was charged with driving under the influence and resisting officers without violence. His court date is set for March 18, 2024.
