In the quiet community of Cedar Springs, Michigan, a young mother named Rachel Timberman prepared to face her attacker in court. She never made it to the witness stand. Instead, she and her eleven-month-old daughter Shannon vanished without a trace, leaving behind only a series of strange, handwritten letters claiming they had started a new life. The truth was far more sinister. When a grim discovery at the bottom of a murky lake changed everything, the FBI realized they were hunting a calculated psychopath who viewed people as nothing more than obstacles. This documentary follows the intense multi-state manhunt to capture Marvin Gabrian, a man who built a trail of bodies to protect his own freedom. While justice eventually caught up with a killer, the search for a missing infant continues to haunt the investigators and the family left behind.
