On a Wednesday afternoon in Athens-Clarke County, Georgia, a black sedan was caught on multiple witnesses' phones chasing a white sedan at high speed down U.S. Highway 29. The chase ended when the black sedan slammed into a minivan that was turning at the intersection of U.S. 29 and Harve Mathis Road. When officers arrived, the driver of the black sedan -- Victoria Floyd -- told them she had been going "45, maybe 50." Her car's speedometer was frozen at 98 miles an hour.
