Upon arriving on scene officers spoke an employee. She stated that a female that frequently comes to the store entered this date and paid for several items. She said after the female paid for the items she grabbed a buggy that was full of other items, not paid for, and walked out of the store. Officers then reviewed video footage of the incident that showed a light skinned black female, wearing a black tank top and gray shorts walking around the store putting items in a buggy. She was accompanied by a black male subject who was holding a baby, who employee's believed to be her husband. When the female gets up to the register she pays for 3 items, which the employee showed officers the receipt for. She then walks back to the buggy she was pushing, which had several other items inside and walked out of the store with it. She walks to a white in color SUV parked in front of the store and shortly after walks back into the store with an empty buggy. The subject in the video did not place the other items in the buggy on the counter or allow them to be scanned and just walked out with them. At this point the employee stated that the business did wish to press charges and the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the jail.
