Parma, Ohio -- An Officer with the PPD tried to stop a vehicle for an equipment violation. The vehicle failed to yield. Eventually the vehicle crashed into two other vehicles. The vehicle caught fire and was extinguished by the help of the Cleveland Fire Department. Police located a loaded 9mm handgun in the vehicle. The driver, later identified as Paul Curry, was indicted with the following: - Failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer - Having weapons while under disability - Having weapons while under disability - Improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle - Aggravated vehicular assault.
