Moments later, police received another 911 call of a man running at vehicles in the roadway and the caller said they saw the suspect pointing a handgun at a passing vehicle. Officers found Mixon armed with a gun when they responded. A 30-second pre-roll setting on the body cameras captures the shooting but no sound because officers didn't actually activate the body cameras until after they opened fire. According to police, Mixon took what seemed to be a gun from his waistband and dropped it on the ground before placing his hands over his head. However, after being given commands, police said Mixon reached down, grabbed the gun, and began running and pointing the gun at officers. After officers opened fire, Mixon was hit multiple times. There were no additional injuries reported. When police approached, they put Mixon in handcuffs and recovered the gun, a Glock 9MM, near him. He was eventually pronounced dead on the scene. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - Christopher Payne - 'Bad Drivers Of The NorCal Area' - Juan Villagomez - Leonardo Buzzolan - Zach Williams - Michael R Sheffield - Jacopo Di Taddeo - Rich Biggs - 'Ham_Radio' - 'D.
