On Friday, September 8, 2023, I, Corporal Thomas Hubbard, was parked on the traffic island between 7th Street and the north service road. I observed a passenger car traveling westbound down the service road at a high rate of speed. I tracked the passenger car's speed with my handheld Lidar. I received a reading of 65 miles per hour in a 45-mile-per-hour zone. I activated my emergency lights and siren and attempted to pull the car to the shoulder of the road, but the suspect would not stop. As the car exited the service road and entered Interstate 40, headed westbound, I tried to catch up to it. However, the driver began driving erratically by dangerously weaving in and out of traffic and ultimately drove on the right shoulder at speeds above 130 miles per hour. The suspect continued westbound, driving recklessly and 58 miles over the posted speed limit. The fleeing car started to slow down, and I positioned my patrol unit behind it and performed a TVI maneuver to end the pursuit. I made contact with the left rear portion of the suspect car with the right front portion of my car, causing the fleeing car to rotate counterclockwise. The driver regained control of the car and continued to travel west on Interstate 40. I positioned my car for another TVI and made contact with the left rear portion of the fleeing car with the right front portion of my car. The suspect vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway into the cable barrier. The suspect vehicle came to rest facing southbound. follow all social media platforms. twitter: https://twitter.com/LRHN_Cash Instagram: https://instagram.com/lrhn_cash?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA== Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/littleRockHoodNews?mibextid=LQQJ4d Tiktok: tiktok.com/@lrhncaash?_t=8fjQ28QcDrm&_r=1 #arkansasstatepoliceactivity #lrhn #lrhncash For channel donations & to help us keep bringing you more entertaining & educational videos & content here’s the link thank you guys for PayPal 💙 https://www.paypal.me/ASPChases & here is the Venmo for Donations as well https://venmo.com/u/ASPC-ASPC thanks for all the support and brave troopers. check out our merch https://my-store-ec6206.creator-spring.com
