An Uber driver pulled up to an officer who was already on patrol and asked for help with a passenger who would not leave his vehicle. The driver told the officer the woman was not the rider connected to the app request and said she had entered the car without permission and refused to get out despite repeated requests. According to the arrest report, the officer recognized the passenger from an earlier disturbance that same night at a bar, where she had already been trespassed. When officers attempted to remove her from the vehicle, she refused commands and resisted efforts to place her in handcuffs. The report states she dropped her weight to the ground and continued to resist, drawing the attention of bystanders as officers worked to gain control. A taser was used before she ultimately complied. She was taken to the hospital to be checked out after the taser was used, then transported to the county jail. Charges listed: • Trespassing in an occupied structure or conveyance • Resisting an officer without violence • Disorderly conduct Court records show the case was filed as a misdemeanor and remains open at the time of this video. #bodycam #police #cops #bwc #policebodycamera #copcam #copcar #arrest #arrested #bwc Disclaimer: All individuals featured in this video are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
