Officer Ryan Griesdorn Coldwater Police Department Coldwater, Ohio May 17th, 2021 --- On May 17, 2021, at around 10:30 pm, an officer attempted to stop a blue Chevy Cobalt after the driver of the Cobalt was witnessed running 2 stop signs and only had 1 headlight. The driver of the vehicle refused to stop and travelled north out of the Village after committing several more traffic violations. After travelling on county roads, the driver entered the City of Celina for a short while, before continuing back onto county roads and state routes. The driver eventually lost control of the vehicle around the intersection of Rockford West Rd and Stetler Rd and crashed into a telephone pole. The driver, Anthony TJ Gregory was arrested and transported to Mercer Health for injuries he received from the crash. Gregory was later booked into the Mercer County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene and inventoried. Officers located a large amount of suspected methamphetamine located inside the vehicle. Assisting was Celina Police Department, Rockford Police Department, Mercer County Sheriff's Office, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Indiana State Police, Rockford Squad and Chatt Fire Department.
