What happens when a routine traffic stop turns into an immediate arrest? In this bodycam breakdown, a Florida driver is pulled over for a simple traffic infraction but outright refuses to sign the citation. Under state law, signing a traffic ticket is not an admission of guilt, but simply a promise to appear in court or pay the fine. Refusing to sign is a direct violation of a lawful order and an arrestable offense. Watch as officers are forced to escalate the situation, taking the non-compliant driver into custody in a matter of seconds.
