YouTuber Jack Doherty caught on raw Miami Beach police bodycam footage! On November 15, 2025, around 3:12 a.m., in the bustling 700 block of Washington Avenue's Entertainment District, officers on a high-visibility enforcement patrol spotted a group stepping into the roadway. But it was 22-year-old Jack C. Doherty who took it to the extreme deliberately planting himself smack in the middle of traffic to film content for a reckless "bet," blocking cars and pedestrians while live-streaming his antics. What started as a viral stunt quickly spiraled into a tense standoff as MBPD officers repeatedly commanded him to clear the road, warning of arrest for endangering public safety. Jack, nonchalant and glued to his phone, shrugged them off with a casual, "Once I’m done with this bet!"—igniting frustration from one cop. As the situation escalated, backup arrived, and Jack was swiftly cuffed without major resistance, all while a crowd of onlookers filmed the drama on their phones. The bodycam captures every pulse-pounding moment: Jack's defiant posture amid honking horns, officers methodically de-escalating the hazard he created. A routine search incident to arrest uncovered shocking contraband in his pockets, a half orange, oval-shaped pill marked '3' identified as a Schedule II amphetamine (felony possession of a controlled substance), plus a black plastic container holding three hand-rolled suspected cannabis cigarettes (misdemeanor possession under 20 grams). He faced three charges total: possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and resisting an officer without violence. Booked into Miami-Dade's Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center around 9 a.m., Jack's night of fame turned into a sobering lesson in accountability, as the Miami Beach Police Department later blasted on social media: "We don't 'bet' on public safety our officers hold everyone accountable, celebrity or not." 🔔 Subscribe to Police Bodycam Arrests HQ for the latest police body camera footage, arrests, and law enforcement content: Disclaimer: Our videos contain footage of real life incidents.
