On April 21, 2024, a JetBlue flight from Tampa International Airport to San Juan, Puerto Rico had already pushed back from the gate when the captain turned it around. The flight crew said a 37-year-old passenger refused repeated requests to end a cellphone call. They said she argued with them and threatened to hit them, slap them, and drag them down the aisle by their scarves.
