Clinch County Homerville Georgia On August 29, 2021, in Homerville, Georgia. A 911 call came in about suspicious persons in a vehicle at 40 Thelma Hwy. The vehicle was stopped on Frank Sessoms Hwy, and the driver was identified as Tracy Alan Guess, while Samuel Reginald Thornton was a passenger. Guess drove away from the scene, and during the pursuit, he rammed a Clinch County deputy’s vehicle. Thornton fled on foot, and Guess was eventually shot by a Homerville PD officer. #police #georgia #sheriff #clinch
