Kelcee Renee Hufford, 28, was identified by El Paso police as the woman seen in a viral arrest clip where an officer struck her during a struggle inside a house. Police said Hufford was wanted on a family violence-related charge and was taken into custody after allegedly refusing to comply with officers. The footage shows two officers trying to arrest Hufford while she screams and resists. In the clip, she claims she was tased three times, asks for badge numbers, and is heard yelling, “I can’t breathe.” KFOX reported that one officer punches her in the head during the arrest, and more officers later respond to the scene. Police said Hufford was also arrested on an additional charge of resisting arrest, search, or transport. She was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility and later released on a personal recognizance bond. KFOX also reported that an affidavit said the original family violence case involved an alleged fight with her roommate over rent. #bodycam #police #arrest
