On July 27, 2026, Bay County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an animal neglect complaint at a Callaway, Florida location. Witnesses reported a medium-sized dog tied to a tree in extreme heat without food or water. When deputies arrived, a woman claiming responsibility for the dog argued with officers, insisting the animal was fine despite visible signs of severe heat distress. As the situation escalated, the primary owner of the dog arrived on scene and was subsequently detained and handcuffed by deputies pending an Animal Control investigation. #bodycam #policebodycam #copcam #arrest #florida #animalcontrol #lawandorder
