#Hoboken #DUI #Bodycam #PoliceBodycam #HobokenPolice #NewJersey #TrafficStop #DUIArrest #RefusedBreathTest #FieldSobrietyTest #PublicRecords #OPRA #AlfaRomeo #PoliceFootage #LawEnforcement Hoboken Police DUI Bodycam (September 4, 2023) — Around 6:08 PM, Officer Joseph Lupo responds to a complaint about a 2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio reportedly blocking a driveway on the 1300 block of Bloomfield Street in Hoboken, New Jersey. While preparing a parking summons, a witness approaches and urgently warns the officer the driver is heavily intoxicated and may drive away. The driver, 29-year-old Brittany Liva, shows slurred speech and poor balance and admits to having a glass of wine earlier, while denying impairment. Additional officers arrive, and Brittany is offered multiple opportunities to complete field sobriety tests—but she repeatedly refuses. During the encounter, she insists on calling her father, Dr. Jeffrey Liva, and references local officials while also requesting a lawyer. Based on the observations and refusal to participate in sobriety testing, Brittany is arrested for DUI and transported to the Hoboken Police Department for processing. At headquarters, she is read the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators and ultimately refuses to provide breath samples for testing. She is later released to her mother pending court, and multiple summonses are issued, including DUI, refusal to submit to chemical test, reckless driving, and improper parking. 👍 LIKE & SUBSCRIBE for more real bodycam footage and public records cases.
