David Culliver, 46, showed up to an active drug raid on North Locust Street in Florence, Alabama on April 22, 2026. He wasn't a suspect. He wasn't involved. He just walked up. Officers told him repeatedly to get out of the road. He refused. When they moved to arrest him, police say he bit the K-9 that was deployed to assist. The Florence Police Department released the bodycam footage and confirmed the use of force was reviewed and found to be justified. Culliver was charged with resisting arrest and harassment of a public servant. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. #bodycam #k9 #policefootage
