Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: Late on February 11, 2025, around 11:27 p.m., Officer Calvin Milas of the Downers Grove Police Department spotted a 2025 GMC Sierra. It swerved across lanes eastbound on Technology Drive. Right near Butterfield Road. He flipped on his emergency lights. But the driver sped off to escape. She covered about two miles. Then pulled over at Summit Avenue and South Lane Drive in Oakbrook Terrace. Milas approached the GMC driver. She was Yuvia. While talking to her, he noticed vomit on the driver's door. Plus clear signs of impairment. Yuvia said she was driving to her job at the Gold Room. That's a gentlemen's club in Stone Park, Illinois. Officer DeVries had her try the alphabet. Start at E, stop at W. She blew past W. Then count backward from 59 to 37. She dropped all the way to 27. Officer Pastrana pulled up to help. They got Yuvia out of the truck for sobriety tests. First came the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test. Milas spotted 4 of 6 impairment clues. Next, Walk and Turn. Yuvia skipped heel-to-toe touches. She turned the wrong way too. Last was One Leg Stand. Milas offered a preliminary breath test. She tried a few times. Never gave enough sample. Her wild driving and failed tests sealed it. He arrested Yuvia for driving under the influence. Cuffs went on. They loaded her into the patrol car. Off to Downers Grove Police Department for booking. There, they read the Warning to Motorist form. She agreed to breath tests. Her BAC hit 0.066%. Over the limit for anyone under 21. Processing done, they released her. Court date set for March 12, 2025, at DuPage County Courthouse. Yuvia faced these charges: -Driving under the influence - alcohol (625 ILCS 5/11-501(a)(2)) -Failure to yield to emergency vehicle (625 ILCS 5/11-907(a)(1)) -Improper lane usage (625 ILCS 5/11-709(a)) -Unlawful possession-consumption of alcohol by a minor (3-3-34) -Possession of cannabis/tobacco by under 21 prohibited (15.302) 19:09 one complete run on accusatory sentance!!!
