A search of the vehicle was conducted, which yielded 2 different bags of, both weighing over 20 grams, 1 in a backpack that Joshua had between his legs, and 1 in a lunchbox in the rear of the vehicle, an open container that was between Joshua’s legs, and a Taurus 9mm that Joshua was sitting on. While speaking with Joshua, I placed him in the vehicle and informed him he was under arrest. At this time, Joshua spun his legs towards the exterior door, as I was attempting to shut it, kicked the vehicle door, which caused it to strike my right hand. Joshua then had to be forced back into the vehicle by Deputies.
