A red Dodge Charger had crashed into a tree outside a Red Lobster. But when police spoke to the driver, 32-year-old Alette Lexus Begay, the situation turned out to be much more serious. She admitted to having consumed alcohol before driving and was taken into custody after failing a sobriety test. However, this was just the beginning. Officers soon discovered that Ms. Begay had left her four young children alone at home — the oldest just 6 years old, the youngest only 1. When police arrived at the residence, the scene was heartbreaking: No food available Poor living conditions The 6-year-old trying to care for the baby sibling Police immediately acted with compassion. They ordered food for the children and waited with them until a family member arrived. Child services were contacted to ensure the kids were safe and placed in temporary care. 🎥 This video is not just about a traffic stop.
