On February 16, 2024, a driver called the Miami Township (Ohio) Police dispatch to report a possibly impaired driver. Corporal Foster located the vehicle that was described and initiated a traffic stop. The 18-year-old driver and 17-year-old passenger both admitted to recently smoking cannabis. The driver was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests and based on her performance, she was placed under arrest for DUI. She was transported to the Miami Township police station, where she provided a urine specimen. She was later released to her grandmother.
