Back with another video with me still unable to tell if this video was taken in the 90s or 2022 (It's a joke because the dash camera quality is not updated, per se) Orange Village, Ohio -- Police with the OVPD were performing random plate checks when they noticed a vehicle without any license plates. The vehicle was pulled over and police made contact with the driver. When prompted for license and registration, the driver gave him "a stack of papers" that he got from his last court appearance. According to the report, "The top sheet of paper in highlighted text stated [the driver] was under an active suspension." As a rebuttal, the driver said that he had privileges but no documentation was given to support that claim. The database also indicated that he had no privileges. The officer notified the driver that the car would be towed, and that he should call someone for a ride. He refused. A "rat-trap" spike was placed under his tires (not a spike strip but rather just a single spike where if he moved the car it would pop the tire) He refused several times to exit the vehicle. Once the driver reclined the seat and "took his hands out of view of the officers." The Sergeant on scene advised officers to shatter the front passenger window with a device from the PepperBall launcher. It did not work. They tried again at the rear window and it worked. One officer deployed OC into the vehicle while another shot pepper balls into it. The driver opened the door but still refused to exit. Eventually he was dragged out and taken into custody The driver, later identified as Denzel Lee Lockett, was charged with the following: - Obstructing official business - Resisting arrest - Display of plates - Expired plates - Driving under suspension He has plead not guilty. ⚠️ Footage from this video was obtained via the Ohio Public Records Act (R.C. 149.43) All suspects featured on the channel are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law ⚠️
