On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, officers responded to an airport restaurant after staff reported that a customer had finished his meal but refused to pay the bill. The man insisted that a friend was on the way to cover the cost and repeatedly argued that he had an agreement with restaurant staff. As officers attempted to resolve the situation, the customer refused to comply with their instructions and attempted to leave after being told he was not free to do so. He was subsequently taken into custody while officers continued their investigation, interviewed restaurant staff, and documented the evidence.
