Dashcam footage captures a chaotic police pursuit through Detroit as three teenagers allegedly linked to multiple violent crimes attempted to flee Michigan State Police. According to authorities, the suspects were connected to five armed carjackings, three non-fatal shootings, and an ongoing homicide investigation. The pursuit began after MSP canine units located the vehicle near 8 Mile Road and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver refused to stop and fled. The chase reached speeds of nearly 95 mph as troopers pursued the vehicle through city streets. Police attempted to box the suspects in on a dead-end road, but the driver continued to evade capture. An attempted PIT maneuver failed, resulting in two MSP patrol vehicles colliding with each other. Moments later, the suspect vehicle crashed head-on into another MSP patrol car. All three suspects were taken into custody following the crash. Authorities recovered two firearms from inside the vehicle. The driver was identified as an 18-year-old male, while the passengers were 18 and 17 years old. One trooper was transported to a local hospital as a precaution and later released. No other troopers, police canines, or members of the public were injured.
