On April 20th, 2024, a routine traffic stop quickly spiraled into chaos when Nevier, the driver of an SUV with a broken brake light, drove the wrong way on a one-way street and abruptly pulled into a driveway. As officers approached, Nevier and her two passengers fled into a house, ignoring commands. What followed was loud resistance, shouting, and outright disrespect, especially from Nevier, who was eventually taken into custody. Two other women were also detained after escalating the situation.
